Like a cold and the flu, COVID-19 has become part of daily life, which may make us complacent about its risks. However, it is still a serious illness that may have significant consequences, and knowing your COVID status is still important for these reasons: Isolation: If you test positive for COVID-19, you can isolate yourself from others, which is crucial in protecting vulnerable individuals like the elderly. Preventing Spread: Even if your symptoms are mild, knowing if you are COVID-19-positive will help you make responsible decisions about travel and meeting with others to prevent spreading the virus. Medical Care: If you test positive for COVID-19 you can inform your healthcare providers for appropriate medical care and advice. Some individuals may develop severe symptoms that require hospitalization and early diagnosis is essential for timely treatment. Healing at Home: With the proper diagnosis, seeking the right care to heal at home becomes possible.
