Insurance Coverage and VNANNJ
It is especially important to understand your insurance coverage. VNA recommends that you learn about the specifics of your plan by calling and/or visiting your plan’s website. Your insurance card should have the contact telephone and website information that you will need.
Direct Billing to Insurance Providers
On your behalf and for your convenience, VNA will reach out to your insurance company to verify coverage either before or during a visit. Once verified, VNA will bill your insurance company directly for the services provided. After working with your insurance provider, VNA will send you a statement that details any balance you owe. This balance will also be available on your Explanation of Benefits (EOB) that is sent to you by your insurance company. Please ensure that your health insurance, along with any secondary insurance (if applicable) is up to date with VNA. If your information changes, please let our team members know so that we can update our records. Understanding your Insurance Plan Under most insurance plans you are responsible for a co-payment at the time you receive medical care. In addition to your co-payment, you may be responsible for any unpaid amount not satisfied by your insurance plan. Should you have any questions about your insurance plan, please contact your provider by calling the number located on the back of your insurance card. Online Bill Payment VNA is pleased to offer a convenient online bill payment portal. Please click here to make a payment. |
