Caregivers Need Care Too11/28/2023  Free Respite Care May be Available to You Someone is looking after another adult in one of every four U.S. households. While caregiving can be a rewarding expression of love, it’s also physically, emotionally and spiritually demanding, and even the most loving and devoted caregiver needs respite time. The Statewide Respite Care Program (SRCP) provides free respite care to those who qualify. Visiting Nurse Association of Northern New Jersey (VNA) administers the SRCP program in Morris, Somerset, Sussex, and Passaic counties through grants received from the New Jersey Department of Human Services, Division of Aging Services.
